Things to do in Camber Sands

There is so much to do in the local area apart from the famous world class Camber beach. 

There are lovely restaurants and bars in Camber and even a greater selection in the historic town of nearby Rye where you will be able to stroll around picturesque cobbled streets full of medieval half timbered houses. You will be able to explore the 14th century Ypres Tower or visit the local Rye Castle Museum.

Just thirty miutes away explore historic Hastings and Battle where the famous battle of 1066 took place.

There are many quaint bars and superb eateries to visit and the local fish and chips are superb!

A visit to the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve is also a must if you enjoy nature at its best. Just over 8 miles away is the world famous Chapel Down vineyards where you will be able to take a tour and sample their remarkable award winning sparkling wines! 

Camber Sands is a perfect base to explore a little further with Hastings and Bodiam Castle within a short drive away.

For the adrenalin junkies you can experience the thrill of Kitesurfing or many other sea based activities along the Camber Sands beach.
